Read This If You Want To Lose Belly Fat Fast

So you have been following my blogs and know that I am a mind-body wellness coach and help people lose weight holistically. I see weightloss clients who have become frustrated with diet and exercise advice. I help them see that their emotions are closely linked to their health and weight. For holistic and permanent weight-loss, we must shift focus away from weightloss to a healthier way of life where we are in touch with our innermost feelings.


So, what I suggest is that you carefully consider your motivation for wanting to lose belly fat ASAP. What is the rush? We don’t gain weight in a hurry and cannot lose it permanently in a few short weeks either. Short-term weightloss is a curse. Clients come to me all the time, wanting to be slimmer but also secretly believing that they can never lose weight. The reason? They tried short term diet plans or other changes that they never continue for life. When the weight comes back, it makes people hopeless. When you feel hopeless, your efforts are half-hearted. Half-hearted efforts do not bear fruit.
Change comes with effort. So always have a very powerful and meaningful reason why you want to lose weight. This reason will ensure that you are happy to work hard and long on health goals.

Once you have good reasons to lose weight, then ask yourself these question:

  1. Why do you need less fat on your stomach?
    Unless you are an actor/ entertainer who’s six pack abs is what gets him business… Belly fat needs your love, not shame. It is a hormone secreting organ that keeps your stress in check. It also protects you from pollution and ill-health. So, show some respect for belly fat!
    What is the real problem you are trying to solve by having less stomach fat?
  2. Are you feeling unattractive, unlovable, or unhealthy? There is usually a direct way to take care of these worries, like doing a health check-up, starting a de-stress routine, or re-igniting your fire to do something important in your life.
  3. What is your lifestyle like? When do you eat, sleep?
    Staying up late and eating at night can be quite stressful. Eating dinner early, having a soothing sleep routine and drinking plenty of water can improve health dramatically.
  4. How are your stress levels? Do you feel challenged by life or threatened by it?
    Depending on whether you are enjoying your stress level or feeling small and helpless, you will either experience positive or negative changes in the body. If you are overwhelmed these days, then simple relaxation techniques like deep breathing, calming music, joining a favourite hobby class, or a loved activity can really help.
  5. Do you have some other goal or purpose that is all-consuming? Something you feel passionately about?
