For those of you who have been following my blog or my work published elsewhere, you know that I am a mind body wellness coach and weight loss specialist. This means I come into the picture when people have failed to lose weight or keep lost weight off, on traditional methods like diets & exercise. And I am able to help them get fit & healthier because I bring in their feelings, unmet needs, and secret desires into the picture. Your mind, with all your emotions, is the missing piece of the weightloss puzzle.
If you want to lose weight and have holistic health for life you need to look at the factors that created weight gain. If your body went off balance (weight gain, hariloss, skin dulling, loss of energy, feeling stuck) because you have an unmet need to feel supported, feel attractive, have new adventures, or anything like that, then cutting out samosas or jogging won’t give you permanent weight loss. You will keep coming back to ill-health.
So dear, if you have recently gained weight, lost your ‘zing’ for life, feel low energy, feel unattractive or hate or feel pained by your present situation then you have a deeper problem than simply weight gain. So I will have to ask you the difficult but crucial question: What else was happening in your life when you started to gain weight?
So sit down and be honest with yourself. Look at what in your situation is creating a heaviness within you (in your heart). See how you can change how you REACT to your situation. Can you feel differently about it? Can you respect & trust yourself?
With more positivity in your heart you will start to see that gears shift inside you. Your body is now ready to really go back to healthy & vitality. Then your weight loss efforts in terms of eating fresh, being more active, sleeping deeply etc will start to show the right effect.
